So they admit they won because of current political climes and not because of talent...? Stupid, stupid world...and it's not because of the political side they come from. I am a universal hater. But, come on, I knew Idiots Rule when the Flaming Lips started protest songs. Ugh. Killjoy...But the Ditsy Hicks are talentless crap. At least the F. Lips have their own sound. Natalie Maines is a fame-whore.

All I know is I am now slightly less anonymous than before ; ) So I will just say they get what they deserve. My producer said it best when he said that there is no honesty in the music industry anymore. No real artists being signed anymore. No real music from the heart. Unless you are using shock value or the verses bridge and chorus consists only of expletives you are not going to break in now.
Ms. Maines is just being herself. A one note personality that reacts before thinking. The only great songs I've heard them sing came from ones written by or ones that filtered through Stevie Nicks.
Meh, their music is okay, it's them I can't stand. Most of the time I can't see past the stupidity of musicians to really enjoy their music. I'm quirky like that.
